My Pink Locs (DreadLocks)

Hey there Coffee Cakes!!!

So I have been growing my dreads for about three months now and my hair has been pink on and off for the past 5 years. So I kept my dreads pink as well. They are finally coming together. Here's a few pics. The above is me today on my way to work. Cam went dead so I only got one pic ;-( I like to call this look Pink Kiss.

Anyway back to topic....lol

So this is me before the locks Below...

the bangs are my own and the longer sides and back have extensions. My hair is about the length of my bangs all over.. A bowl cut lol.

Me 1 month after extension removal and "baby" dreads.

(church car wash at 7 AM NO MAKE UP AHHHHH...lol)

ME 3 months into my dreads and a fresh dye job yes!!!

I am extremely happy with my transition! Although I do miss my length so I'm going to make some dread extensions and install those.

E.L.F. Cosmetics Haul

So I ordered a few things from E.L.F (eyeslipsface.com) and it finally came in yay!!!

I haven't opened everything yet but I'm excited to play with it all.



A few close up pics of what I got. Everything looks great love the fact that this stuff is super cheap and cruelty free!!

I got a custom eye shadow palette, brush kit, lashes, eye shadow quad, Liquid lipstick, eye shadow duo, and eye lid primer.

All in all cost me about $23 including shipping. Keep you posted o the products themselves.

Fing'rs EDGE nail kit

Hey again Coffee Cakes!!!

Ok So I grabbed these up from Dollar General. This nail kit includes 24 pre sized nails with a pretty pink,black, and white argyle print at the free edge.

The kit also came with clear nail glue and stick on tabs. I wanted to use a pink glue to make the fleshy tone of my skin so I bought pink nail glue on the side. All in all I paid about $4 or $5.

After applying the nails and filing them to a perfect fit and shape the nails look great.

There really short adding a more natural look. There great for someone with an active lifestyle. I myself work in a shoe store so I use my hands alot opening boxes, lacing shoes, stocking, and typing alot. the nails them self lasted a week with only one popping off after about 4 days. I tossed the glue in my purse for that just in case factor.

I've gotten several complements on these as well as ppl asking me where I get my nails done.

Over all these things are awesome for someone like me who likes to change there nail art up with out breaking bank.

There's enough nails in the kit to do my nails at least twice.

Couldn't sleep

So even though I went to bed at 5AM this morning. I found myself tossing and turning in pain around 9AM. I woke up with a whole mouth ache. It feels like all of my teeth are being pulled at with a set of pliers!! GRRRRRR. I made a mad dash to the drug store for aleve. Hope it passes soon.

Alastor Mad-Eye Moody

Hello again Coffee Cakes!!!

This blog is about my heart the one I hold most dear.

My cat Madam Mad-Eye Moody. She is named after the Harry Potter saga character Alastor Mad-Eye Moody. (pictured)

Moody is one if the most famous aurors in the modern wizarding world. He has fought and put away many dark wizards and has lost many limbs. Thus he is very cautious some say paranoid and doesn't eat or drink anything he didn't prepare himself. His magical eye can do a complete 360 seeing through his head, doors, walls, invisibility cloaks, etc. Moody is latter killed in the series and his eye found on Umbridge's door until Harry retrieves it and buries it under a tree in Moody's memory.

Moody was one of my top 5 fav characters.

Now enough about the Character moving on to my Madam Mad-Eye Moody.

THis is my loving Cat. I gave her the name because as a kitten she was scared by her mother stepping on her face and scratching her over her eye. This left a weird foggy film over my cats eye. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her and the thought of this as her magical eye instantly came to mind. She is now 8 months old. I am thinking of breading her once she is ready. I would love to have another. Just wanted to share her with you guys!!
